Agentic integration framework for zero‑hassle BSS–OSS–ecosystem interoperability

Telecom operators today rely heavily on rigid, API-based integrations between BSS, OSS, networks, and partner ecosystems. These integrations require constant customization, frequent updates, and high operational cost. As telcos modernize towards digital service provisioning and ecosystem-driven offerings, the traditional API model becomes increasingly complex and unsustainable. This proposal introduces Agentic Integration—a new AI-driven paradigm where LLM-based agents replace rigid API calls with intelligent intent-based orchestration. Instead of triggering specific API endpoints with fixed parameters, an agent understands service intents such as: “Activate 1Gbps internet with 2 voice lines and 2 TV channels” and autonomously coordinates the required BSS, OSS, and ecosystem actions. This drastically reduces integration overhead, accelerates service activation, and enables vendors like Whale Cloud to offer BSS/OSS-as-a-Service with minimal customization. Telcos gain better agility, lower cost, and faster onboarding of new services.
