Day 1 Opening keynotes: The Future, Faster.
Jan Hofmeyr is Vice President, AWS for Telecom. Jan leads the global AWS for Telecom team, helping telecom customers and partners innovate and adopt cloud across their business operations. His team works closely with global telecom operators, equipment vendors, and system integrators to drive cloud adoption at scale.
Previously, Jan was VP of the Amazon EC2 Edge Services team, overseeing AWS Outposts, Local Zones, Wavelength, Transit Gateway (TGW), VPN, and IPAM. Before Amazon, he held leadership roles including Chief Network Officer at Comcast, Naspers, and Microsoft, bringing extensive experience in large-scale network operations.
Jan holds a B.S. in Industrial Electronic Engineering from Stellenbosch University, South Africa.
