He currently acts as Vice Director Mobile Network Supervisory focusing on End-to-End Performance & Capacity Management at Rakuten Mobile, driving AI-powered analytics, automation, and customer experience optimization across the first worldwide cloud-native Open RAN Mobile network.
Prior to joining Rakuten Mobile, he held multiple roles at Vodafone in both Egypt and Turkey , building strong expertise in network optimization and operational excellence. Mahmoud is also an inventor with multiple patents in telecom and AI-related technologies and is an active speaker at global industry events including TM Forum , TWA & MWC Barcelona, where he shares insights on AI, automation, Open RAN, and the future of telecom transformation.
