Ruza Sabanovic has been a prominent global business and technology leader with nearly three decades of experience driving large-scale transformation across Europe and Asia. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President and Group Chief Technology & Information Officer at Telenor Group, where she led 5,000 employees across 15 markets and spearheaded initiatives in cloud, AI-driven operations, and cybersecurity. Her leadership resulted in industry-leading digital transformation, improved customer experience, and the creation of new global ventures, including Working Group Two, later acquired by Cisco.

Ruza has played a pivotal role in some of Southeast Asia’s largest telecom mergers, delivering over $10 billion in synergies, and has forged strategic partnerships with leading technology companies such as Google, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, Ericsson, and Nokia. Beyond telecom, Ruza now supports leading conglomerates such as CP Group in Thailand and Fred. Olsen in Norway, helping them pursue innovation, and sustainable growth strategies.

Recognized among the 50 Most Influential Women in Tech in the Nordics, Ruza combines boardroom experience with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and mentoring future leaders. A Harvard AMP graduate, she brings a unique global perspective, having lived and worked across more than 15 countries while supporting companies at the intersection of technology, business, and transformation.
