Veemal Gungadin has over 20 years of experience driving digital transformation and innovation across global markets, with a distinguished track record of scaling businesses, optimising operations, and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions that enhance telecommunications services and infrastructure. He has also led national-level digital infrastructure projects for the Singaporean government, building scalable cloud platforms supporting millions of users.

Veemal Gungadin co-founded GlobalSign.In, a Singapore-based company, and served as its CEO until April 2025, providing secure digital platforms for government agencies and enterprises. He was also the CEO of GEVME, where he pioneered AI powered solutions, such as Snapsight and Spark, demonstrating his commitment to technological innovation. Veemal also developed strategic partnerships with leading telecommunications providers such as Singtel.

From 2022 to 2025, he served as Honorary Secretary of SACEOS steering national-level digital initiatives. He was also a member of the Board of Directors and Trustees of PCMA, based in Chicago from 2022 to 2024, where he brought a unique global perspective as the sole representative born in the African region.

As a testament to his leadership and innovation, Veemal Gungadin was named among Eventex’s 50 Most Influential People in the events industry in Asia for 2024. In the previous year, he received the prestigious Digital Innovation of the Year award at the Singapore MICE Awards. He was also honoured with the SACEOS Pioneering Award in 2020 for demonstrating professionalism and innovative creativity that delivered a lasting impact.

Veemal Gungadin holds a bachelor’s degree in computing from the National University of Singapore and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Mauritius Telecom with effect from 14 April 2025.
