Fed Mendoza is an Associate Research Analyst in the Kagan media research group of S&P Global Market Intelligence. He is the lead research analyst of the Asia-Pacific telecoms team, covering pay TV, fixed broadband, and wireless industries. Since joining S&P Global in 2022, he has maintained and developed telecoms market research, with core expertise in region-wide industry overviews, pay TV-streaming partnership strategies, fiber network infrastructure, FWA and satellite technologies, broadband speed performance, telco M&A, 5G network adoption, and state of towers and spectrum. He has also ventured into AI-driven telco infrastructure research, focusing on general AI operations, network autonomy, agentic AI for CX, telco-hyperscaler collaboration, and AI for fiber and 5G-A networks.
