For attendees requiring additional entry documentation, advance travel planning and early visa application are important, as visa applications are subject to a great degree of scrutiny.

It is strongly suggested that all attendees review the websites below and/or contact their local embassy to determine what, if any, travel documents they will need to travel to Denmark.

TM Forum can provide registered delegates with an invitation letter needed to assist in this process. Please note that TM Forum cannot contact the embassy on your behalf. It is the responsibility of each delegate to make the necessary arrangements related to this process.

There are two ways to obtain a letter of invitation:

  • A completed DTW Ignite Registration OR
  • A confirmed hotel booking – you must request this directly from your hotel. The letter will be issued by the hotel, not the TM Forum.

In the event that a visa is denied, the delegate can provide proof, and we will issue a complete refund of the registration fee.

After you register for DTW Ignite, there will be an option on the confirmation screen to request an invitation letter, as well as a link in your confirmation email.

Make the most of your time in Copenhagen – a city where sustainability meets vibrant culture. Bike along scenic canals, enjoy organic Nordic cuisine, and relax in green spaces in one of the world's greenest capitals, which is committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.

Discover Copenhagen

The metro is the easiest way to get around Copenhagen, running 24/7. A Copenhagen Card offers unlimited travel on trains, buses, the metro, and harbor buses, with no need to worry about zones or tickets.

Choose a card valid for 24–120 hours and download it to your phone or collect it on arrival.

The currency in Denmark is Danish Kroner (DKK).

Many places accept Euros, and all major credit cards are widely accepted at hotels, stores, cafes, and restaurants. Some places might charge a fee when accepting foreign credit cards as payment. Be sure to bring a picture ID when using a credit card in Denmark.

Bella Center parking is operated by APCOA and charged at DKK 30 per hour or DKK 240 per day.

Sustainability
  • Event lanyards will also be made from recycled PET and will be recycled. QR codes will be used instead of printed brochures.
  • Carbon and energy usage at the Bella Center will be tracked and considered as part of our footprint.
  • Exhibitors are encouraged to utilize reusable or recycled materials. Plates and utensils are 100% compostable.
  • All food provided during the event will be fresh and locally sourced.

Finding a sustainable place to stay in Copenhagen is easier than finding a non-sustainable one, as the majority of the city’s hotel rooms hold an official eco-certification. Remember to:

  • Turn off the lights and turn down the AC before leaving your hotel room.
  • Conserve water by doing your part to keep your showers short and shut off the water while brushing your teeth.
  • Switch off all electrics at the end of each day.

Copenhagen is one of the world’s most bike-friendly cities, with 49% of locals commuting by bike every day. Consider:

  • Booking non-stop flights when possible; takeoffs and landings create most of an aeroplane's carbon emissions.
  • Flying with one of the 30+ IATA member airlines that offer carbon offset programs.
  • Arriving at the venue each day on foot, or travel like a true Copenhagener and bike.

When booking staff flights, TM Forum will donate to the airlines’ carbon offset partner.

Bring your own water bottle to reduce cup waste. Water stations will be set up throughout the venue.
