Racing towards trustworthy AI-native ODA
Trust isn't optional - can you prove it?
As AI moves into live telecom environments, trust can no longer be assumed, it must be built, proven, and continuously validated. Today, AI systems still lack consistent identity, governance, and the ability to be trusted at scale or under failure conditions.
This challenge focuses on advancing towards trustworthy AI‑native ODA, embedding trust at the core to enable secure interactions, governed behavior, and end‑to‑end transparency.
The goal is not just to build AI, but to prove trust in operation through traceable decision-making, and resilience across the full lifecycle of an agent in production. Solutions should demonstrate how trust is maintained through verifiable identity, coordinated system interactions, and complete chains of evidence from action to outcome.

Think you’ve built AI that works? Now build AI that holds up under pressure.
Move beyond demos and prototypes and create something that holds up in the real world, where trust in telecom means every decision, interaction, and outcome must be traceable.
The Hackathon will leverage TM Forum’s AI-Native ODA principles and standards using the “Breaking barriers” framework. Participants will focus on delivering tangible, production-relevant outcomes that demonstrate how trustworthy AI systems can be built, governed, and scaled for telecoms.
