J. Troy Lupe

J. Troy Lupe is a technology and digital infrastructure executive leading technology strategy, network engineering, operations, and transformation at Zayo, where he helps shape one of North America’s leading Tier 1 fiber platforms supporting AI, cloud, hyperscale, and enterprise connectivity.

With more than 25 years of executive leadership experience across the telecommunications and technology industries, Troy has built and led large-scale organizations responsible for engineering, network operations, field services, construction, and business transformation. Before joining Zayo in 2021, he served as a Chief Operating Officer and held senior executive leadership roles at Comcast and other national telecommunications and technology organizations.

Throughout his career, Troy has helped organizations navigate periods of growth and transformation by combining technology leadership with operational execution. His experience spans network modernization, organizational scale, automation, and the delivery of critical digital infrastructure for enterprises, hyperscalers, and cloud providers.

Troy earned a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Marketing.
