J. Troy Lupe

J. Troy Lupe is Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at Zayo, a leading Tier 1 fiber network provider supporting many of the world’s largest cloud, AI, hyperscale, carrier, and enterprise customers. He leads Zayo’s technology strategy, network architecture and engineering, automation, and digital transformation, with a focus on how next-generation technologies are reshaping the network and the infrastructure required to support them. Troy brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across telecommunications and technology. His career was built in large-scale network operations, engineering, field services, and infrastructure delivery, giving him a practical operating perspective on how complex networks are designed, built, scaled, and run. He has led major network modernization and business transformation efforts and held executive roles including Chief Operating Officer and senior leadership positions at Comcast and other national telecommunications and technology organizations. Troy earned a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Marketing.
