Matt is the Director of Data Risk and Assurance at TELUS. With over 10 years of experience in risk and privacy governance, he leads efforts to safeguard customer privacy and enables data risk management across all TELUS business lines. A passionate advocate for responsible technology, Matt focuses on embedding Privacy by Design and AI governance directly into product development to drive technical innovation while uncompromisingly upholding customer trust. He holds a Master of Public Administration and multiple active certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
