TrustFabric: Securing Autonomous AI for the AI-Native Telco addresses one of the most critical challenges facing the telecommunications industry as it transitions towards AI-native operations: establishing trust, security, and governance for autonomous AI Agents. As AI Agents increasingly collaborate across customer service, network operations, and OSS/BSS environments, traditional security models designed for human users are no longer sufficient. This Catalyst introduces a trusted foundation for autonomous operations, ensuring AI-driven decisions remain secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise policy while enabling CSPs to accelerate AI adoption with confidence. At the heart of the solution is an intelligent Security Agent embedded within the TM Forum ODA Canvas. Built upon the TM Forum GB1087 Agentic Security framework, the Security Agent provides continuous governance throughout the entire AI Agent lifecycle. It validates security, privacy, and compliance controls during development and then continuously evaluates agent reasoning, permissions, and intended actions at runtime before execution. This proactive approach ensures that autonomous AI Agents operate within defined governance boundaries while maintaining the agility and productivity benefits that AI-native architectures promise. The Catalyst introduces several innovative capabilities that extend beyond traditional security and governance approaches. Dynamic trust scoring enables secure Agent-to-Agent collaboration by continuously assessing reputation and trustworthiness across autonomous ecosystems. Behavioural analytics identify rogue, anomalous, or non-compliant agents before they can impact business or network operations, while runtime reasoning validation ensures that every autonomous decision is checked against organisational policies, regulatory requirements, and governance controls. By embedding security directly into autonomous workflows, the solution transforms governance from a reactive audit process into a continuous, real-time capability. The business value is substantial. TrustFabric enables CSPs to scale the use of autonomous AI while reducing security, compliance, and operational risks. It increases confidence in AI-driven decision-making, improves auditability and regulatory compliance, and provides a scalable framework for trusted multi-agent ecosystems. Demonstrated through a real-world telecom call centre scenario, the solution shows how AI Agents can securely collaborate to improve customer service, increase operational efficiency, and accelerate innovation. Ultimately, TrustFabric establishes the trust layer required for CSPs to move from isolated AI adoption to secure, governed, and scalable AI-native operations.
