Karthik Venkatesh

Karthik Venkatesh is a technology executive with extensive experience leading engineering, artificial intelligence, data, and digital transformation initiatives. Since March 2025, he has served as Vice President of Engineering at Zayo Group, where he oversees architecture, cloud, infrastructure, networking, AI, data, operations, and back-office systems. In that role, he has focused on advancing technology strategy and building scalable platforms to drive innovation, improve performance, and support long-term growth.
Before joining Zayo, Venkatesh was a Customer Transformation Executive at Google from 2022 to 2025, advising large organizations on digital transformation initiatives built on Google Cloud technologies. Earlier, he served as Chief Product Officer and Vice President at Adtalem Global Education, now known as Covista, where he helped lead a shift toward a more product-centered culture.
Venkatesh also held senior leadership roles at Walden University, including Chief Information Officer and Vice President, where he led enterprise digital transformation efforts aimed at strengthening the institution’s competitive position. He began his career at Oklahoma State University, building expertise in telecommunications and management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and telecommunications from the University of Mumbai.
